What Is Baja Bluegrass Camp?

At Baja Bluegrass we hope to provide students with high quality, engaging musical education in a beautiful setting.  We aim to hire top notch instructors from all over to teach bluegrass.

From 4/17 through 4/21 campers will spend their time learning, playing music, and enjoying concerts put on by the staff.

4/17: Orientation in the evening, general information followed by short sets to introduce the instructors.

Here’s what a normal day will look like:

9:00 - 10:30 Main Courses

11:00 - 1:15 Jams/free time/band scramble practice. Also a good time to eat lunch.

1:30 - 2:30 Main Courses

3:00 - 4:00 Elective workshops. These will be classes put on by each instructor on a specific subject. You do not have to be taking an instructor's main course to attend their workshop!

4:00-7:00 Free time. This is a great time to grab dinner or explore La Ventana!

7:00 - 8:30 Instructor Concert.

4/21: Just one class in the morning, then an optional open jam. Later in the night there will be a welcome party for Baja Wondergrass at Polvora.
